Lapo Elkann, president of GARAGE ITALIA recalls the happy period of Italian industry after the first world war and celebrates the 60th anniversary of legendary 500, the most iconic Italian economy car. Creative director of this project, jointly with Pininfarina created an esclusive and elegant limited edition of SPIAGGINA 500 GARAGE ITALIA.
The car derives its name from FIAT 500 BOANO, built in 1958 and designed by Mario Boano, a turinese appreciated coachbuilder and director of Centro Stile Fiat.
Spiaggina during the Sixties became immediately well-known and was exhibited in the most important places of tourism, even the least known versions.
