Alfa Romeo Duetto is a spider designed by Battista Pininfarina till 1969. Between 1960 and 1994 years, Duetto was produced in different versions. Its success on international market was influenced by the participation in the well-known movie “The Graduate”..
The first series (1966-69) was called “osso di seppia” for its oval shaped bodywork similar to the shell of a mollusc.
Main protagonist of the film “The Graduate” is Dustin Hoffman. He appears in the movie with his bright red car that was the status symbol for wealthy Californian bourgeoise at that time.
The movie deals with dramatic blend of erotic passion and romantic love. With the help of Alfa Romeo Duetto the main protagonist becomes able to win the heart of a loved one.
