Just a few steps away from the Villa d'Este, Villa Erba is going to host RM Sotheby's extraordinary auction of classic cars. The auction, that will be held on 27th March is expected to get a lot of attention from the collectors and people who are passionate about historical and unique automobiles.
There will be represented 44 lots of cars. Among them: 15 Ferrari, 1928 Mercedes-Benz 680 S Torpedo-Sport Avant-Garde by Saoutchik, estimated at 6.500.000 €-8.000.000 € (the most costly and expensive German automobile of the auction); 1937 Talbot-Lago T150-C SS 'Goutte d'Eau' Coupé by Figoni et Falaschi with an estimated value of 3.800.000 € and other important models.
Moreover the auction will host a 1993 Porsche 911-964 Carrera RSR 3800, that was constructed with particular configuration by special order and was driven for just 10 km. It is an unique car in the world in such conditions.
