The car was first built in 1938 in Third Reich and stayed in production till 2003. Featuring in the comedy film of Walt Disney, the Beetle became famous in the United States as well, even if, it was completely of an opposite design from that time American cars with massive bodyworks.

Beetle, symbol of German technology participated in the final of international award CAR OF THE CENTURY (1999) and obtained the 4th place among the most iconic cars of the twentieth century.

German Beetle also appears in 1969 film On Her Majesty’s Secret Service from James Bond series and was owned by Beatles, Paul Newman, Niki Lauda, the king of Belgians, Baudouin of Berlgium, Robert Kennedy and Gheddafi.

The car that completely conquered the world was not showy, It was much more admired for its beauty and simplicity.
